GPTMuse is a privacy-first AI platform that provides access to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and other leading AI models through a single interface.
The challenge
Managing multiple AI subscriptions is expensive and cumbersome. Users need separate accounts and subscriptions for different AI models, and most platforms store conversations indefinitely, raising privacy concerns for sensitive work.
Background
The AI landscape has become fragmented with each major provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, X) offering their own platforms and subscription models. My research into LLM vendor privacy practices revealed extensive tracking and data collection across major AI platforms.
Users wanting to compare different models or use the best tool for specific tasks face:
- Multiple expensive subscriptions ($20-50/month each)
- Separate interfaces with different UX patterns
- Privacy concerns with conversation storage and tracking
Implementation
GPTMuse consolidates all major AI models into one privacy-focused platform:
- Privacy by Design: Zero conversation logging - chats are processed and immediately discarded, addressing the core privacy concerns I identified in my vendor analysis
- Unified Access: Single interface for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and others
- Pay-per-Use: Transparent pricing without subscriptions or expiring credits
- Character System: Specialized personas (Loyal Friend, Companion) for different interaction styles
- Export Features: Download conversations in Markdown, Plain Text, or JSON formats
- Minimal Tracking: Unlike competitors with 100+ tracking requests, GPTMuse operates with minimal data collection
- Global Performance: Automatic routing to fastest available servers worldwide
The platform uses React/TypeScript for the frontend with a secure backend handling API orchestration across different AI providers, built with the same privacy-conscious approach used in my other products like Formshive.
Thoughts
GPTMuse launched at gpt-muse.com represents a direct response to the privacy and fragmentation issues I documented in the AI vendor landscape.
The pay-per-use model is especially cost-effective for occasional users who don’t need full subscriptions to multiple platforms. Unlike the 150+ tracking requests and multi-megabyte loads I observed from major vendors, GPTMuse focuses on functionality over surveillance capitalism.
